Was down with cold and fever...and yeah what a great time to fall sick while planning for your own housewarming party. But party has to go on as planned....Dragged myself out of the bed at 6am after a merely 3hrs sleep.....the last few hours was busy boiling the steamboat soup and clean up the apartment before hitting the sack. A few more tasks to be completed this morning before the guests starting to show up at 12.30pm.
6.30am - off to the wet market at Jalan Othman (PJ Old Town) to get all the necessary stuff for the steamboat. Along the way back pick up few packets of ice from 7-11 to fill up the ice box to chill the canned drinks
8.00am - reached home and start to wash, cut the steamboat stuff (chicken, tiger prawns, squids, soft tofu, spinach, chinese white cabbage, crabmeat stick, all sort of 'balls') and put them into the containers...
10.30am - off to the Satay Hj Samuri stall along the Kesas Highway R&R (the closest to my place) to order the satay....
11.30am - back in the office's cafeteria to pick up the finger foods I ordered. On the way back stopped by the Satay stall to collect the satays...
12.15pm - back at home....fuiyooh.....what a timing! Welcome to the housewarming (cum birthday party)....
So, party is on as planned!!! :)

Lastly, thanks to those who turned up at the party. For those that confirmed coming but didn't turned up....you are summoned to have dinner at my place from now on to finish up the excessive left over!!! :)
