It was really sad when my colleague called this afternoon to inform us they have found the Nuri copter that crashed on last Friday morning while enroute to Kuantan from Sg Besi RMAF airbase in which her brother (Capt. Nor Azlan Termuzi) was the Nuri pilot. All on board died....no survivors :( We all at the office were silent for a while after hearing the news. With this moment of sorrow we do not know what more to say except to offer our condolences to her. Sad.....May their souls rest in peace.
First met her brother while we were on official assignment in Kuching back in 2005. That time her brother was based in Kuching. He came to fetch us at the airport and later loan us his car to scout around kuching town during our stay there. To me (though i don't know him long enough), he was outgoing, outspoken, cheerful, friendly kind of person.....and really took care of his sis (my colleague), they were very close to each other, he make sure she was ok, well taken care off while carry out her assignment in Kuching.
Now...another young man (he was only 29) together with 5 others onboard giving away their lives serving the nation....sadly in another mistery copter crash.
If not mistaken that was the 14th crash of the Nuri Copter in the history of RMAF since 1969. What RMAF or MOD going to do with those copters???
