So, the EPF board has announced a 5.8% dividend for 2007....the highest for the past 7 years. Good.....a little ang pow for the wage earner group like myself for our "old age"???....or is it just another strategic move/a little goodies prior to the upcoming 12th general election? :)
Yes, every investment has its risks....5.8% for a pool of fund that is over 300 billions? Of course some investments might not be profitable after all. My past 2 years investment in various Unit Trust funds with my constant every 3 months withdrawal earned me a return of about 15-18% in average. So, don't let your savings "sleep" and just hope for the year end dividend. Do something about it. A good fund manager/agent will help you grow your saving.
