Ok....1st of all this isn't a food review (you will find out later why). So, what were 2L2M doing at this cafe? BTW, Rick's Cafe Casablanca is place for you to indulge your appetite for Moroccan influenced western cuisine.
25th Jan 2008 marks the Financial Year 2008 Kick Off of the company. Yeah, it was the company function....to bring all staff together, to review the company overall 2007 performance, and to recognise employee for their outstanding performance and contribution in 2007. A night for all, from the 'Top' to the 'bottom' to enjoy and get inspired :)
So, a fresh new year and a fresh beginning for all of us! Time to team up, warm up and work closely togehter again to acheive what had been set for 2008. This year also mark a very meaningful year for the company...Yes! the company will turn 25 Oct this year!!!! Yes! We will be 25 soon....and this company is still going strong and healthy financially, survived 2 major financial turmoil in the 80s and 90s and with zero financial gearing. Another big celebration in the planning later in the year.
After the presentation and Q&A session....there was half-an-hour cocktail served before the dinner. Hmm....these two finger-food were somewhat interesting:
Beef Skewer (minced beef buat mcm satay), the sauce a bit on the mint side make it tasts good :)

The Appetizers....pastas, lots of olives, pickled vegetables and dedaun....yummy!
I thought the caramelized apple tart with puff pastry (not in picture) was really taste good.....and from here you might notice something is missing right??? Appetizers to desserts??? Where the hell is the main course!!?? Hahahaha...sori la the writer must have been busy chatting, cracking jokes among the colleagues, enjoying the performance or simply got too drunk until forgotten to snap the main courses served on the other side of the table....beef, lamb, chicken, fish.
No la....because the writer is on diet so this was the only serving I took for the whole night plus the pumpkin soup....no meat at all??? How could that be? So, was not bothered at all about the main courses! Matila aku kalu bos terbaca entry ni.... hehehee
