POS Malaysia....Oh.....POS Malaysia.....

Been moved into the Bkt Jalil neighbourhood for over a month now....I won't say I am already familiar with myself with this area and the surrounding neighbourhoods such as OUG, Sri Petaling....etc.

When I reached home one evening....there is a familiar collection card in pink left in between the gate and the door.... It was those collection card left for the recepient for undelivered registered mails/parcels. If something sent through the registered mail of course it is something important or need immediate attention. But then....for a new comer into this neighbourhood.....where the heck is Pejabat Pos Sri Petaling? No address given except the phone number:

I called up a friend who has been staying in nearby neighbourhood for years to find out where exactly the Post Office is.....he told me there are actually 2!!! Bummer!!! Errr....ok la...I can still tolerate since what I need to do is to call the number to find out. I have been staying in PJ for years before moving to Bkt Jalil....with that I was also ran into the same situation...i.e. went to the wrong post office and then re-directed by the staff to the correct Post Office. So, I told myself I am not going to run around anymore......

Then few days later.....another collection card dropped at my place.... this time the rubber stamps on the card shown where to collect the mails/parcel (Carrefour, Sri Petaling) which is great!!!

But hey, does that means the 1st collection will need to be collected from the other Post Office??? I was pondered for a while.....of course I am also not that dumb to figure out that both cards bear the same contact number....so I decided to call up last Saturday at 11 morning before leaving my place to collect both the registered mails....call.....call.....call....punya frust....as usual la nobody answering the call...belum balik from minum pagi ke??? So, no choice but to take my risk to go the one at Carrefour since it is stated clearly on the collection card.

My Points: On each card it says:
Waktu Serahan Tingkap: (1st card)
Isnin-Sabtu: 9 pagi - 5 Petang
Jumaat: 1 - 2 Petang (Tutup) - I suppose they close for Friday prayer.

Kaunter Kad Panggilan (Surat Berdaftar) - (2nd card)
Isnin-Sabtu: 10 pagi - 6 Petang
TUTUP: Sabtu Minggu Pertama, Ahad/Cuti Umum

So, we have 2 cards (to be exact one type of card), 2 different rubber stamps stating 2 sets of operating hours....I suppose the 2nd should open during Friday prayer and the 1st one should open all year long....but both bearing the same contact numbers.... and nobody answering the damn phone....!!! Confusing enough??

When I reached the Post Office in Carrefour, Sri Petaling...I checked with lady at the counter and she told me yeah...both collection cards referred to the same location!!! I was like......WTF....why on earth you need 2 different rubber stamps (or still using the old one) to confuse the people unnecessary??? I asked her why do they use 2 different stamps that could potentially causing unnecessary confusion to the public?? I am sure you guys can guess the answer....I think sometime they don't even care about it or give a damn! So, it is another: this is Malaysia dear.....so don't expect much???

Come on Pos Malaysia Berhad....I think you can do better than this!!! You are the exclusive provider of mail services in Malaysia with 175 years existence in this country......The same goes to Pos Laju....once called up the main collection centre in Brickfield on Saturday during the operating hour but also nobody care to answer the phone. Hopeless is it?
