Lazy Weekend.....

Was on day off on Friday....since Thursday's night work at a client's site finished on Friday 9am itself due to some hiccups. So, a long weekend for me....indeed a lazy one started on Friday evening to catch the Beijing 2008 Olympic opening.....I was sort of glued to the TV after that....still managed to get my butt to the gym on Sat morning :)

Went around nurseries nearby....and picked up few more plants for the balcony....did a little invention and turn the plain wall into this.....hehehe

Sunday morning.....went to Sg. Buloh to check out the nurseries. Intention? Been wanting to get few nice Orchids for hanging in the balcony....here are the 2 pots of Orchids I picked up

I know plants & flowers are like pets, fishes...etc. they have life and need attention and care from time to time....my friends were asking do you have time to look after and take care of them??? Hmm....let see how long I can keep them alive :)

Just something to share...I really laugh my heart out....real people i came across at the nurseries

Incident 1: An Indian couple came in a Merc....org kaya lah tu. The moment the mrs stepped into the nurseries....she pointed to a bunch of baby orchids and asked...."Ini warna apa???". I was like what a stupid question??? Inside my heart.....I answered: Hitam kot! The picture immediately came in my mind was....she is pointing her finger to a 2-3months pregnant lady and ask: "Ini lelaki atau pompuan?". It doens't stop here ok? The next few moment I felt I was like in the market.....quite annoying...the mrs bargain macam beli sayur kat pasar.....napa ni mahal sangat? tak boleh kurang lagi? Obviously, she doesn't know how to appreciate Orchids....to her Orchid=Sayur. But the best part is so banayk tanya and complain mahal....the indon worker also get annoyed and answered: Kalu nak murah...amik anak2 dia...RM5 satu pokok. You can see the husband face so embarrass. I was like padan muka kau! Byk tanya, byk complain....beli pun ckit jek!

Incident 2: Came a chinese lady couple....from the mandarin conversion they are good freinds...satu nak beli Orchid letak dalam pejabat, satu nak beli letak dalam bilik tidor?? I was like huh??? Betul ke? Bilik Tidor??? Then came some shocking questions again....Q1) Ini perlu siram air!!??? Q2) Boleh guna jelly!!?? (she wanted to change the air hanging pot into glass pot and put jelly!!)....come on use common sense la! Jelly your head boleh la dear or guna KY jelly boleh kot!! Kalu nak bunga tak perlu jaga, tak perlu siram.....belilah bunga plastik sayang! Pity the orchids...
