Well, we weren't so sure what we were actually trying to do in the 1st place....but looking at the items and ingredients we have just bought for the Christmas Eve dinner.....it looks like we are going to cook up a storm!!! Hahaha.....
Lots of vegetables....

Order just the Turkey drumstick, smoked chicken breast ham and roasted (Turducken: Turkey, Duck and Chicken) from Cold Storage...

Lots of cheeses....from Parmesan, cheddar, blue cheese, apricot & almond cheese, butter spread, garlic spread, salmon mushroom terrine (kwai lou otak-otak) and some sausages....

Lots of breads (carbo source....fattening!!!): bread-veggie, french loaf, Potato Tortilla and Pita bread......

Lots of herbs, spices and salad dressings.....

Lots of desserts too.....chocolate, minced pie, pudding, ice-creams and some sweets from middle-east bring over by a friend.

Well, it was more like experimenting (doing a bit of survey, shopping and to try out different things....I guess watching too much and get too inspired and excited by the programs in AFC channel!) Hey!! Of course we make good use of it...we don't just watch and pay the subscription to Astro....at the same time we need to get inspired and exposed to different cooking, right??
Well, it was kind of fun and busy in the kitchen for hours....frankly speaking, in the end we did not actually did any huge cooking and turn the whole kitchen upside down. Looks like we could plan and hold a proper Christmas dinner next year for 10-15 pax!! Hehe....
So, what did we eventually had after 3 hrs messing up in the kitchen!!???
Tomatoes Bruschetta as appetizer.......

Vegetables salads with Italian dressing....

Mixed baked vegetables....

Potatoes wedges.....

Look scary the amount of food we prepared??? The baked vegetable and potatoes wedges....

The oven roasted ham......with own mixed brown sauce (buy and mix) and cranberries sauce mixed with pineapple tit-bits.....

The roasted turkey drumsticks.....with some baked veggies and potatoes.

The tomatoes bruschetta, Vegetable salads, mashed potatoes, baked sausages and salmon-mushroom terrine....

Some extra toasted french loaf to go with the cheeses....and of course the red wines :)

Pudding as dessert.....serve with vanilla ice-creams...yummy.
